No consideration of LGB+ cultural works would be complete without Priscilla. The film is an exploration of sexuality and gender identity in several Australian contexts, and includes many of the attitudes, views and arguments up for debate in the equality campaign debate. 

Drag queens are the icons of the LGB+ community with spectacular gender displays and renowned talents for snappy one-liners. While it's possible to debate the value of Priscilla's contribution, I would recommend simply enjoying it for sheer entertainment value.
